Welcome to InterPhon’s documentation!

The Interfacial Phonons (InterPhon) is an open-source Python package designed to automize the evaluation of interfacial phonons within a three-dimensional (3D) density functional theory (DFT) electronic structure framework.

This program calculates phonons of user-defined interfacial regions, in conjunction with 3D DFT codes.

Currently supported DFT codes are:

1. VASP

2. Quantum ESPRESSO

3. FHI-aims
